Track Name: Teething
Maybe I've resigned to contemplation but deep thought never suits me well step right up and show us don't be shy or modest do tell
My deepest fears revolve around hyperbole becoming reality soon it’ll start raining cats and dogs and there'll be house pets falling on me
I got out my umbrella and my raincoat but you said it would be ok I'm not sure if that's completely true but it just might get me through the day

I'll go and make a list of all the things we mutter to ourselves under our breaths in the line of fire

Come on boys we'll get em good we're gonna run em out of town like we said we would armed to the teeth and ready to run
Bayonets and idle threats water balloons and silhouettes of everything we've ever won

Aeronautic delusions of grandeur
everything we hope to achieve all falls into the category of things to obtain through other means
Everybody gather at the river draw up battle plans in the sand mount a charge on the new turnpike show em that we've got other plans in mind
Sit back and enjoy while we dissect you pick apart your bones and observe how they sit in your body these empty words could sure be worse

I've made a fortress of branches and magazines on the motorway that never sleeps in
We gather corpses for sport so we don't feel weak we'll cut you open watch you bleed
And we'll be waiting here when you come to to prove that all we do is all or nothing
Cause we need you to believe our rule this childhood moxie has finally run out of fuel
Track Name: Desert Days
7th avenue never seemed like such a beautiful place to be as on that sunny afternoon in may when cannibals and zombies roamed streets
Then Wendy came back to life after the greatest tragedy of our time she returned as astronaut and in the chaos we could hardly believe our eyes
We move to no metronome we're just happy that we're not alone
holy hell its Melbourne as we head north
it may be hot and dusty but I'm glad to have called this desert home

It's all relative all things considered we all see the killings in different ways
I hate everything about this place except for every time that I'm away

Breakfast is better at night in the morning the sun's always to bright to worry about anything other than escaping this blinding light
So until it's all clear in my head let's kick around until our legs are dead we could dress up in ice cream suits and terrorize the neighborhood instead
Ill push around this shopping cart we can murder Mark with a revolver in the dark the one eyed man is closing in so hurry and get the hatchet from the car

It's all relative all things considered we all see killings in different
ways
I will always have a home in this place but who doesn't love homelessness these days

7th avenue never seemed like such a beautiful place to be as on that sunny afternoon in may when serial cannibals and zombies roamed streets
Track Name: The Yeti
Artifacts and all these facts are poorly drawn ripped up maps composed with no tangible intent
The only way to read the scratch is to fashion a Socratic batch of arrows and fire away
So excavate your basement in search of something less intimidating than what you'll likely find

But try as we might our shovels only go so deep

We don't know the difference between ax murderers and our neighbors I hope that someday we will be alright
But I don't think that's plausible considering all the causal relationships between the fossils and the damage
Build a wall to keep out all the homicidal folks and take up arms prepare the battlements for defense

But try as we might dragons dance on castle gates

Mt Everest is an accomplishment that I'd never want anything to do with the Yeti sits up there and waits for you to die
He takes your money eats your food and leaves you standing fully nude in the middle of a maelstrom
And I thank the snow beast for all the lovely things that he has done for all of his heroic acts

But try as we might the Himalayas keep their snow
Track Name: My Friend the Grizzly Bear
Have you seen my grizzly bear he wondered into town and where oh where could he be hiding I can't find him though I've tried
I searched all night I slept all day I yelled but much to my dismay nobody acknowledged me I guess they've all got better things to do
If I were them I wouldn't care I'm just a freak running round in his underwear it's what they see its what they think and they are probably right

Yesterday I lost my mind for the 16751st time I never knew it would be so hard to draw a straight line
So from the school yard I stole a swing tied it to a balcony and grew some wings I just can't help over-comprehending every single little microscopic thing
So adjust the angle move that chair put it anywhere else but don't leave it there I took apart my camera and my telegraph and but they still don't make any sense

Maximum capacity and misused space elevators car alarms and dry erase its all the same they're all to blame I’ll go construct a fence
But me and my friends are Vikings it's not pretend it's just make believe when we ran into the store and drew our plastic swords we were promptly asked to leave
So we all went home and went to bed except for me I went instead to investigate the sighting of a grizzly bear at the local haunted house

I met a ghost the other day I asked it if it would come and stay it helps me sleep and it helps me keep the grizzly bear at bay
Track Name: I Was a Planet Once
Before these obligations I leaned towards another misrepresentation part nonsense
part institution
I’m not entirely sure how their pens work a flurry of ink and they all smirk
Dethroned a mouse among giants I relearn my worth and the use of defiance

So scream out your praises and whisper the truth it's another mistake unspecific to
you
And I know it's a bother maintaining the mountains of Leeds

Lets take the repercussions of mass murder and throw them all into the blender
And when the time comes we'll fill this house with railroads to direct them out
Then try to forget all the gruesome things we've done I've never had more lovely
fun then that day when you roasted their limbs on the face of the sun

So scream out your praises and whisper the truth it's another mistake unspecific to
you
And I know it's a bother maintaining the mountains of Leeds
Track Name: Hobos and Rocketships
The last time I tried to tie my shoe laces I tripped over a bum lying in the road he said to me all I ever want to be is an astronaut I’ve got to fly to the moon but have to way to go
So I fashioned a rocket ship out of a cardboard box drew on some windows with pen he cursed me profusely proclaiming that he would be the greatest spaceman that there's ever been
A couple weeks later I saw him again huddled in his magnificent machine he said the expedition was going well and then began to tell of what's to come as he perceives

He said the future will be ruled by mammalian creatures not so very different from us
They'll laugh at our misfortune and label our t shirts vintage
Their alien customs call for sacrificial blood

He went on to tell me about how his years had been quite a peculiar ride his first wife had left him for a lawyer in Chicago and at first he thought his heart would heal with time
But it turns out that clocks wont keep us from remembering what leaves us sickly inside so he rode the freight to Littleton and camped out with his dog by the local five and dime shouting

The future will be ruled by mammalian creatures not so very different from us
They'll laugh at our misfortune and label our t shirts vintage
Their alien customs call for sacrificial blood

Now all I know is I wish I was a giant lizard from cretaceous times I'd rip you all to shreds and consume your flesh as you beg for forgiveness from my insides

There's a women in the parking lot screaming for the lost boys a knife in her chest and she won't stop running and the crowd can't decide whether to save her or not
The bystanders are blown away by a man and his dog wearing jet black capes they sweep her off her feet and plummet into a frozen lake

A voice from the crowd rings that's our man the super hero he's gonna save the world some day (x2)
That's our man we know he can and he's gonna save the world some day
That's our man the super hero he's gonna save the world some day
Track Name: Frank
The Loch Ness monster is my closest friend and our mission is to decipher when this world will end bringing all the falling planes to a screeching halt
So jot down all the things we do that make no sense to me or you and we'll roast marshmallows on the buildings we burn down to the ground

Ill get an ax and plunge it straight into the sidewalk if it helps me crack the code of the space time continuum I'm lethargic sick and done with everything they have to say about Halloween and medicine

This skeleton suit cannot provide the various necessities we need to survive so hop on board and fall apart with me
And nothing that we see as real could ever have the same appeal as aliens and dinosaurs and dying all alone

So if I die in my sleep toss my body out in the rain and watch it float down the hills where we slept and wait for winter to come along and ride those hills and hum a song about the ways we view the ends of the earth and traveling through time

And this is nothing more than a sad excuse for nonsense written by a lunatic for every manic mad man spitting out redundancies and stumbling through the oddities of this planetary body so this is for everybody

The separation of the breaths we take does not exist in Dillon Lake where my old friend swims and hunts and lives and capsizes fishing boats
